In a show of works on paper, two large gouache paintings by Mary Ann Peters kept my nose to the north wall at Platform Gallery.
Done while on a residency in Civita di Bagnioregio, the work suggests weather, history, and architecture. Domes, amphitheaters, fog, haze, skyscrapers, storms, rain, and aqueducts entwine and drift over the page.
